About Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO)
Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) was incorporated in 1998 to take over the assets, functions, and responsibilities of the former Islamabad Area Electricity Board under the restructuring of WAPDA (Water and Power Development Authority). IESCO is a state-owned electric distribution company (DISCO) regulated by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).
IESCO supplies electricity to over 3.2 million commercial, residential, industrial, and agricultural consumers across northern Punjab and the Federal Capital Territory, covering 5 key administrative circles: Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum.
About PITC Billing Backend
The central billing infrastructure, database processing, customer account management, and duplicate bill PDF generation for IESCO (and other Pakistani DISCOs) are operated by the Power Information Technology Company (PITC). When consumers check their electricity bills online, the data originates from PITC's secure repository hosted at bill.pitc.com.pk.
